We had too short a time to see Bergen properly and it was raining hard. What we saw we liked. Buildings and city centre.

Great City, nice pace of life, clean bright and neat, but bear in mind we saw it on a beautiful sunny day which is far from the norm. The outlying countryside is striking with lots of varied terrain, mountains, massive waterfalls, volcanic springs and geysers. If you are there for a day or so hire car
