They had changed the order of ports. We were supposed to arrive in Boston on 9/11, due to the terror thread. They decided to stay at sea that day. We arrived in Boston on Monday instead. I am glad they made that change. It worked out to be a better day arriving earlier in the day. We loved Boston we want to take a ride up there to see more. We took a trolley tour along with a boat tour of the harbor, shopped at Quincy market and ate lunch in a restaurant near the aquarium.
Portland was a nice town. Took a city bus tour were you get on and off for the same price. Cute shops to buy gifts. We went to spa nine for messages. We went to eat lunch at De Millos a restaurant boat on the pier. Had the best lobster we ever tasted. Not enough time to do all the things we would like to see.
It was very foggy that day some drizzle. The ship arrived late due to the fog. We went to Peggy's cove but was too foggy to really appreciate its beauty.
