We went early to pick up our tender tickets so were off quite quickly. We took the cable car up and had a lovely wander around. We walked back down which was a fun experience
We had booked a ships excursion to Ephesus with a visit to the terrace houses. The guide we had was the best of the holiday. We really enjoyed the visit especially being able to see the terrace houses. As part of the tour there was a carpet demonstration but you did not have to go to it. After the tour we had a look at some shops
this was the whole point of going on the cruise and we loved the visit to Jerusalem and Bethlehem. The first day we had a tour of Jerusalem and the second a half day tour of Bethlehem all arranged through the ship. Getting to ad from Jerusalem took a while but the guide used it to tell us info about Israel.
We did a ships tour to Nazareth and Galilee. The tour was good but the guide was useless on the bus. He spent most of his time speaking to a family at the front of the bus and when he did speak to the rest of us he had the microphone too close to him so was hard to hear.
