Great little port,Nice streets to wander round, we took the little train 6 euros and had a ride round. Nice to spend a few hours and then return to ship.
We really enjoyed Athens, we took the local bus and then train to the Acropolis, only 2 Euros and 40 cents return and it was really close to the Acropolis. It was 12 Euros to see that and other little sites. The Acropolis was a bit of a climb and it was 98 degrees but it was really worth it. The view from the top was breathtaking. I would recommend anyone to go and see it. Fantastic.
What a fantastic place, It was very windy but this was a relief from the blazing sun, beautiful little streets to wander around, lots of shops to look for bargains. The plants were fantastic decorating all the stairways and arches. Lots of little Tavernas and bars to stop and have a drink. Overall it was a beautiful place to visit. Highly recommend it.
We loved this port, we used the cable car to get up and down although you could walk or use the donkeys. A very pretty Island, they have a Pelican which roams the streets and if you see it you are supposed to get good luck. I saw it and stroked it so maybe I will have some luck. A really beautiful place, Lovely streets to wander and bars to stop and have a drink, we found one with fantastic views. Highly recommend it.
This was a lovely little stop. You could walk from the ship and there were lots of streets selling souvenirs. We took a little tourist train around the local area which was well worth the 6 Euros. Plenty of places to sit and have a drink and admire the view. Very restful. Beaches nearby if you wanted to sunbathe or swim. Easy access.
