Ibiza
Port Rating:
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ be prepared, expensive port, food, drinks, clubs, taxi's and the ship is far from the town. We were there on another cruise, we stayed on the boat.

Barcelona
Port Rating:
Great City, close to port (just take a cab from the ship) good transportation around town on the subway.
Barcelona Cathedral Awesome La Familia Sagrada (Gaudi Cathedral) Awesome (the inside is now "done")
La Rambla (sit, have a beer, watch the world go by)
The market just off La Rambla so cool.

Florence
Port Rating:
Get a guide (I hired mine from Roman Candle tours) and see the city. There is much to see and learn. The only downside, you can only get an overview of the city in the time you have.
We did take the time to see the David, it is WORTH it! If you have a guide, you go right in without waiting.

Tunis (La Goulette)
Port Rating:
Was glad to see it, saw lots of cool stuff, probably don't need to return.
Warning VERY VERY VERY aggressive market vendors (and it's all fake crap, don't be taken in). DO NOT, do not, let your ship tour take you to a rug vendor, there were horror stories from other cruisers about being "locked" in a shop for over an hour, after being escorted there by the cruise line tours.

Corsica (Ajaccio)
Port Rating:
Quaint city, walk off the ship into town.
Good place to walk off, sit on a beach and swim in the Med if you want. (the sip information doesn't really tell you this is possible). It's just on the other side of the old fort you see from the port. a 15 min walk, very nice.

Rome (Civitavecchia)
Port Rating:
So much to see, so much to do.
Be prepared for sticker shock. This is an expensive city.
There are always guides available outside the Vatican and other main spots. HIRE ONE! Don't wait in line.

Monaco
Port Rating:
Cool to see once, the Casino was cool, and during the day had no dress code and was only 10 euros to enter (bring your passport). We had read and heard that it was way more in cost and coat and tie required.
We walked off the ship and took a train to Monaco. The train was a bit of a cluster getting back, allow time.
