Hope your visit isn't on Sunday as little is open. Gorgeous chocolate shops. Lace shops are nice but expensive. We have a 6 EURO cup of coffee in the main square (that was $8.50!!!) The canal ride around Brugge was terrific and inexpensive. This is far from the port and a pricey cab ride, but don;'t go from the ship. There are plenty of online cab bookings. Too far to walk.
We chose to go to Normandy. Book Privately. We used NST and were happy with them. Normandy is well worth the long ride.We used NST for St. Malo and Mt. St. Michelle also with the same driver. Well worth the ride. Both a good value.
