Las palmas , the port is currently under construction was a little noiser than usual. We also had a longer walk from the ship to go through security than the other ports, There was plenty of taxi's waiting as we came out of port building also bus stops right outside , plenty of tourist information around.
We didnt see much of this port as we were out allday on a trip , but what we did see of it was hustle and bustle and not as nice to look at compared to the other ports visited. From information from other passengers we are glad that we did nt venture out around this port alone. We experienced this port from the ship and coach travelling through it to sorrento/pompeii some parts looked like a shanti town . Our tour guide explained to us that some places were very dangerous and should be avoided.
( Civitavecchia) Again only saw port from ship and coach as we were travelling through to rome itself everything seemed well sign posted around port, seemed to be plesant enough. took plenty of photo's as we ported here as i was up earlier than usual as i was going into rome.
