This port was my far and away favorite! We had Paul from taxitrax.com as our private guide and could not have asked for a more wonderful day! He was ready and waiting for us as we got off the ship, and whisked us away to Giant's Causeway, Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge and Dunluce Castle before bringing us back to Belfast for a city tour. It was AMAZING. We learned so much about Northern Ireland, and his enthusiasm and passion for his job was unmatched! Northern Ireland has some extremely beautiful coastlines, and the murals in Belfast have to been explained and seen in person for their meaning to really sink in. It is an atmosphere that has to be witnessed firsthand to really get a feeling of what it's all about. I cannot recommend taxitrax enough when it comes to getting a tour there. You will not be disappointed.
Liverpool was a lovely city! It's big enough to have all kinds of culture and entertainment, but small enough to feel quaint, clean, and down-to-earth. We did a HOHO tour, stopping off at the World Museum and the Anglican Cathedral. We also stopped off by Queen Victoria Square for some shopping. Definitely worth the trip.
