Beautiful island..easy to get around it. We love the beach and found a bus that took us to Poetto Beach, which was really beautiful. Walking through town was also very nice
Hired a private service to take us to and from Livorno and Florence. We had purchased tickets to visit La Galleria at a specific time, therefore we skipped the line (which was really long!). Florence is absolutely beautiful. The driver was very nice and helpful. He recommended some places and on the way back took us to Pisa.
Beautiful!!!! Expensive!!!! Had provably the most expensive beach day ever, but it was beautiful. At the recommendation of locals we took a taxi to a Pampelonne Beach Club (Called Moorea) were we rented lounges and had lunch. The town is picturesque and its people very friendly. Wish I could spend more time there.
We went to a shore excursion organized by the Silver Spirit, and it was very nice. The first stop was at the Lavender Museum (boring!!!), but we then visited l'Isle sur la Sorgue for lunch, which was a colorful quaint village. The big surprise of the day was Gordes. A unique village in the mountains which dates back to medieval times. AMAZING!
Just in transit.....I am rating it 1 just because of the disembarkation experience that I described before. We have visited Cannes before and it is beautiful.........
