Ship excursion all day - £39.00. 1 hour and 20 minutes to get into Rome from the Ship. Saw the Vatican etc but for us wrinklies the day long trip was too long in the city. A 1/2 day would have been much nicer as all one can do is walk around the city and for those with bad knees or other ailments, 6/7 hours before boarding the coach back was far too long
Decided not to book the trip to Florence as again a day long trip in yet another city and the very next day after the Rome trip when we returned shattered ! Decided instead to go for the 1/2 day Wine Tasting in Tuscany. Fabulous and back on board just after 1 pm lunchtime.
It was with some trepidition that we visited this port because of the Tender having to be used to transfer us to and from shore, but it wasn't bad at all and what a place. Gorgeous.
Mahon, Menorca, Sorry have put any port in the pull down box because for some reason Mahon, Menorca or Minorca, being the last port of call is not part of the pull down list.
Love Mahon as been many times. Did not however like the 100 steps everyone had to climb in order to reach the town. Shattered ! but oh so well worth it once got there.
