Athens
Port Rating:
Embarkation - Meeting the agents who escorted to the bus for transportation to the ship was without any issues. Embarkation on the ship was very smooth, not like the larger ships. Before we knew it, we were in our stateroom.

Kusadasi
Port Rating:
Our day tour to Epheusus was great. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we had a wonderful day exploring the ruins and the scenic landscapes. We took an evening excursion to Sirince for a Turkish dinner and it was very memorable. It was a small village where the people gathered together at night to talk to each other. We found all vendors would happily take US dollars. They love to barter on the price and don't be bothered by the way the Turkish people come after you to purchase their merchandise. It is their way of life.

Santorini
Port Rating:
Port of Santorini...just beautiful. The island excursion was wonderful. Wonderful items to purchase in the many shops. We also visited a winery and purchased some wine to take home and share. We had a beautiful lunch at a restaurant on the cliffs of Santorini, sampling so many Greek dishes. If you get the chance, do this with a group as we had so much fun with our group of 24. Lots of Uzo. Everything was wonderful including the picturesque day.

Rhodes
Port Rating:
Rhodes is a wonderful place to visit. It was our third time here. We spent two days here. Our visit to Lindos was just as memorable as the first time we went here. We purchased some table runners and tablecloths from an elderly gentlemen and love them in our home. People on this island are very friendly.
Take a tour away from the port. You will see so much and enjoy the beautiful ocean views. We also went to a pottery where they still produce Old World clay pots and dishes. So much history on this island. Both excursions to Rhodes were great as well as the weather.
Walking from the pier, go to the walled city...you will enjoy the restaurants, shops and architecture of the old city.

Limassol
Port Rating:
Our tour guide wasn't as friendly as our other ports and she didn't make the visit as wonderful as our other ports. Lots of history in this island. We were scheduled to dock in Pathos but weather conditions changed the port to Limassol. Cyprus is a pretty place. We did notice that armed guards followed us to each destination on our excursions during the day. Went to a 5+ hotel on the ocean for a snack. Beautiful by the sea but above most people's affordability.

Jerusalem (Ashdod)
Port Rating:
Great tour guide and a great city to visit. We were overwhelmed with the amount of history and places to visit on our excursion. This tour provided us with so many wonderful memories of Jerusalem and Bethlehem. Visiting Old Jerusalem City is quite amazing. Stepping foot on so much history...it's overwhelming.
Our guide was so informative and enjoyable to listen to. If you get a chance to visit this country, do so. I don't believe you will be disappointed. Had lunch at a kibbutz...fresh food...very enjoyable.
You will notice lots of armed Israeli guards in this country. The people in Israel feel comforted by their presence.
It takes a little getting used to as we do not live this way in the US, but seeing them there does bring some comfort.

Haifa
Port Rating:
Israel is a fascinating country. We visited Jaffa, the Jordan River, Galilee, so much history and overwhelming to know how much this country has been through. In the distance saw the Golan Heights...very friendly people were met everywhere we traveled.
Ate with our group in a local restaurant that served Kosher, Muslim and Moroccan food. It was a great time with lots of memories.
