If you're doing the city on your own, be sure to carry your own map -- we didn't get anything for price of the ship's shuttle except the ride into town from the port. The HOHO took us all over, and we were glad we rode the entire loop. After a lunch break we reboarded and then used the "hop off" feature to explore St. Steven's Green -- a really lovely park with ponds and garden beds.
The "Falmouth Ambassadors" (volunteers) helped with calling a taxi to our destination Trebah Gardens. What a treat! The temperate climate permits both palm trees and rhododendrons in the same garden, but the rhodies grow to tree size! Garden staff was helpful in calling the taxi to pick us up again for our return to the marina dock for tendering.
