We were not impressed by this port much at all especially not the $10 cost for RCI's shuttle bus, we went into the town and ended up back to the ship after an hour as trying to find your way around to something interesting is not easy. I think it is port where you really need to take an excursion
Barcelona is a great port as there is so much to do, we have been there before so didn't do any excursions but there are so many to do you can't fit them all in with just one day in port!
We loved Gibraltar it really is a home from home but in the sunshine, the port shuttle is 3 Euro return and drops you off at the entrance to the town where there are numerous bars and shops from home. The majority of the shops are more expensive than at home but we found C&A very good (I miss that store at home) and the cosmetics stores were definately cheaper (3 Clarins products for £25!!!)
