Rome is without doubt a most impressive city and well worth the visit providing you can cope with crowds like nowhere else. 2 hour lines for most attractions.
We went round Lisbon in the rain and we were dropped off by the bus close to the main shopping street. Pedestrian zone needs the walkways relaying. The buildings are becoming old and tired, some shops boarded up. Odd exceptional shop but most very ordinary. City looks short of cash.
However away from City centre there were nice parks. Not a city we wish to return to.
Really nice well kept City. Looks and feels prosperous. We had a coach trip to south of Centre where beaches abound along with muscle beds in the estuary. Shopping looked good and we would return.One of the best places on our trip.
