A prettier island than Bora Bora and again we took a circle tour of the island - well worth it! Heavy rains caused our hike and snorkeling expeditions to be cancelled but we took a long, enjoyable walk and also were able to kayak off the Marine Deck. Great fun but quite a bit of work. Still, very worthwhile.
We left the Paul Gauguin here and spent two days at the Sofitel. We enjoyed the location--away from downtown--and its amenities. Gorgeous infinity pool, lovely room, excellent food at the two restaurants, etc. It was a great way to end our trip in a very relaxing way.
