Did the Amalfi Coast trip. Very good our guide was good without being overpowering. Lovely views with a lot of information given at different points. Sorrento is lovely, as is Amalfi with plenty of free time to explore or go shopping. A great day out
Enjoyed Rome on your own trip. Other passengers said it was easy to get to Rome by train, but it was holy week and crowds were expected so we decided to go with Thomsons. A big thank you to our tour guide, without whom we would never have got our tickets for the audience with the Pope. She went out of her way to phone The Vatican twice to ensure we were able to pick up our tickets, and she took the trouble to direct us to where we had to go.
Such a beautiful port of call. Just get off ship and stroll. Chic restaurants along the promenade. Lovely beach 5 mins walk, really delightful. Try the Moules and Frites with a carafe of wine, exquisite. Would love to go back.
