Beautiful! Lots of old buildings, this had been a dockyard for the Royal Navy, very picturesque. The Clocktower Mall has numerous stores and is fun to walk through. Take the tram ride around the shipyard and see all the shops before you decide where you'd like to go.MUST VISIT: Glassworks shop and rum cake factory. This port is also where you can catch the ferries to Hamilton and St Georges also. Transportation passes are sold in a little kiosk right off the ship, makes travel so much easier for ferry or bus.
St George's was easy to get to by using the ferry from King's Wharf, we took the bus #1 back to Hamilton and then the ferry to King's Wharf for return. It is an under rated port, it has beautiful architecture, narrow quaint streets and wonderful little shops selling hand made items. The water views are very pretty. Wish we'd spent more time there.
This area is the "business district" for Bermuda. Very busy area but does afford some pleasant restaurants and shops. We bought my moongate charm here @ Crisson's which had the best prices. Ferry to King's Wharf is also here. Very friendly people here who were patient in answering any questions we had.
