Due to her size, QM2 usually anchors quite a distance for the port of call and this can shorten time on shore as tenders are often required to ferry people ashore. However, we made the most of our available time with organized tours or doing our own thing and in general, had good experiences at all the ports we visited.QM2 anchored some distance from the port in Hong Kong requiring a 40 min trip by tender to get to a pier on Hong Kong Island but as there was an overnight stop there it wasn't a problem.
