Wellington
Port Rating:
Great city pleasant helpful people Went on cable car ride to top of hill above city, then walked down though the most beautiful garden back down to the city. If going do not buy return ticket for cable car as once you have waked down you will not feel like hiking back up the hill to get the cable car down! many people wasted money on the return journey Great place for souvenir shopping, best shop near bottom of hill as you walk back into city, willing to explain different grades/types of jade carving

Christchurch
Port Rating:
What can I say about Christchurch, I saw a beautiful city with a winding river with the most stunning garden banks, people punting up the river, very English The cathedral was beautiful to see, cool inside with the most gorgeous stained glass windows I watched with horror as the pictures of the damage from the recent earthquake splashed across the TV, the Christchurch I saw and loved is gone

Pretty little seaside town
Stunning old railway station worth a look at
Took a tour out to see the Albatross's, seals, sea-lions & yellow eyed penguins with Elm wildlife tours, saw them all up close, plenty of time for photos etc, very informative
Small personal group, on private beach, excellent packed lunch provided
Thoroughly recommend
