Cabo is a beautiful post, but you'll be tendering. In February, the water is 'a little cold' and stirred up so if you're planning on snorkling and have been to the Caribbean ... lower your expectations. Cabo is more expensive than other Mexican ports.
Mazatlan has been dropped from the NCL itinery beginning with our cruise. I don't view that as bad, rather it's unfortunate ... more for the Mexican people than those of us who are passengers on Riviera Maya cruises ... it's a safety factor and until the citizens of western Mexico 'take their land back from the drugs lords', the average Mexican that has been dependent on tourist dollars (or whatever currency), is 'screwed'.
The 'boardwalk' is quite nice to walk down. We had tapas at Barcelona ... the garlic shrimp and grilled asparagas were very good and the view was fantastic!
