Very pleasant and quaint town. Easy to walk around. Bikes and golf carts available for rent. CASH ONLY!!! Most shops and stores don't open until 11am. Short (5min) tender ride from ship to shore. Passengers were doing everything from snorkel/scuba to submarine rides and parasailing. We saw dolphins and a sea lion in the waters as we went from ship to shore and back.
I like Mexico and Ensenada is still a somewhat sleepy Mexican port. Usual curios to buy, people are friendly, easy to walk around the town. Clean ladies facilities at McD's, Hussong's store and the Hussong's Cantina. This visit was scheduled from 9a-9p. Weather got chilly around 5:30pm so we headed back to the ship. Others we spoke with enjoyed La Bufadora (the Blowhole) and the inexpensive food and drink in the local restaurants. DW and I felt safe during our visit and enjoyed our time here.
