A lovely little port. The old town was just a short walk from the ship. Quaint streets and plenty of shops to look at. Very pretty. Felt very safe. Our party ordered a large beer in one of the bars and had a mighty big surprise when it arrived!
We didn't get off here - Cyprus in February - it was very wet and rather cold. The promised "free trip" to compensate for our altered itinerary didn't happen as there weren't enough places (around 800 free trips were available for a ship of 1250 passengers) For this reason I've given this port a rating of 1
We've previously been to Naples and weren't interested in doing any of the organised trips again. We decided to stretch our legs and took a stroll around town. As with Piraeus, think of any city and this is what you get. Noisy, dirty busy and not very interesting. Add to the mix a handful of beggars trying to get you to part with your cash and you've got Naples.
