Having been to Cyprus before we were somewhat disappointed with Limassol but the weather was good and the locals friendly. Coffee cheaper than on the boat!!!
The stay in Haifa was excellent even though it was Sabbath we managed to get a Christian taxi driver who took us on a tour of Haifa for a very good price, the German quarter the Druse markets Elijah's cave and the Baha'i Gardens all added to our enjoyment. There was a spiritual presence in this town which I felt was tangible.
Lovely little port very friendly people with very little pressurised selling. The herb and spices store was a delight.Just to sit and have a coffee or ice cream once again cheaper than on the ship was a bonus.
