Did not enjoy this port at all. We met some locals on a walk and found out that 2 passengers from a cruise ship 2 days earlier had been shot at the shopping mall. Not a place I want to go back to!
Not much to offer here either, lots of police / army soldiers around. We went swimming with a whale shark. Excellent crew, facilities and experience. I would recommend it to everyone.
We stopped at this port for 2 days. One day is plenty for this port. There were 2 other cruise ships there. Our excursion was cancelled, and we found out later that another cruise ship had passengers going on it. That cruise ship must have paid more to book it.
