Aqaba is one of the ports of call that you can go off the ship and the ship provides a free regular shuttle bus to and from the town. If you like shopping then you might like Aqaba but as we dont we were only off the ship for an hour or so. Port of call for trip to Petra. A 'must do' trip despite the early start. The walk down to the Treasury is easy but then there is lots more to see further on which makes the walk back up to the top a bit of a trek but worth the effort.
