HAL provided plenty of information regarding the port and we had fun spending the day there soaking up local culture and shopping. We chose to explore on our own rather than an excursion or tour. Taxi rides bring back memories of TJ, but overall worked out without a hitch.
We took the Trolley Tour, which was not sponsored by HAL, and it seemed to hit enough highlights to make everyone happy. The Trolley Tour stopped at Senor Frogs for lunch, which was fine, however my 7 year old inquisitive daughter received a bit more of an education than I was ready for with the name tags they put on other guests (they were very respectful to us). Fun port and recommend the Trolley Tour.
Wow! Beautiful port, very tourist friendly, but still able to venture off to soak up local flavor. Best stop of all. Everything within walking distance. Very clean and nice.
