We walked across the street from the pier and went to Walmart. There is a beautiful mall nearby and we enjoyed walking around in an air conditioned mall.
HAL was charging $4,200 for 3 a three day excursion in Machu Pichu so we stayed around the town. We went to the Indian Market which was had a lot of native items. There was a mall by the sea which had high end shops. Other than that there wasn't much else to do.
