Prince Edward Island was very nice and rural. Seems like everyone has a farm there. We enjoyed the excursion to see the Confederation Bridge and the lovely countryside.
Loved Halifax!!! The port is beautiful, the trip to Peggy's Cove shouldn't be missed. It's a ride of about an hour or so. You see so many beautiful coves with picture postcard fishing villages around every turn. I was disappointed that we couldn't stop to take more pictures of these little scenic coves as I thought they were as nice as Peggy's Cove too. In town stop at the Maritime Museum and walk the nice harbor walk. Great city!!!
We fell hard for Bar Harbor. Yes it's touristy, but there is just something about the beautiful scenery and the quaintness of it all. The boats in the harbor, the Bar Harbor Inn, the masted schooners, t gorgeous trees in the fall, I could go on and on. Take the trip to Cadillac Mountain and here's a hint, when you get on the bus, sit on the right side as you get on the bus, this way you will see the best views going up the mountain. Walk the shops.Take the trail in front of the Bar Harbor Inn along the water for some beautiful photos.
