Not my wife's favorite port, she's gotten sick here before. But this can be an interesting place to walk around central square and town. we actually went to Portofino [again] and it's always very pleasant and interesting.
This can be an interesting port. Tour required, they take to to the markets and then to the blue and white little town, that has become a tourist trap. With a good guide, it can be very interesting.
Don't take a ship's excursion, the thing to do is to take the tour train/bus that the island provides. On/off all day, no restrictions, and you see everything you want.
