Cabo San Lucas
Port Rating:
Cabo is a very good port of call. We went on a snorkeling trip to Los Chilenos Bay. The snorkeling was enjoyable, but not spectacular. The problem we had with the stop was the short duration. When we got back from our excursion we had less than 1 hour to shop before we had to be back on the ship. We would have liked a longer period of time.

Acapulco
Port Rating:
Our tour in Acapulco was entitled "Romantic, Historic and Picturesque." The tour was enjoyable and stopped at a number of interesting places, including the famous Cliff Divers. Acapulco itself did not impress us. It could be that we did not spend enough time there to experience the charm of the city. It may have been something else. Whatever it was, we do not plan to return to it.

Puntarenas (Puerto Caldera)
Port Rating:
Our brief stop in Punta Arenas was enjoyable. We took a River Rafting tour of the Coribici River, which was very fun. The rains held off until we were eating lunch. We did not get to shop because of the length of the tour, which was bit disappointing

Cartagena (Colombia)
Port Rating:
In Cartagena we took a private tour arranged through Leland (Lee) Miles, who is also known as Mr. Emerald. The tour was great. Our tour guide, Claudia, was very knowledgeable, very personable and very thorough. Other than the Panama Canal, this was the high point of the cruise.
We strongly recommend that if you stop in Cartagena, that you contact Lee Miles and arrange a tour through him. You will definitely enjoy it.
