Trips in town are easy at this port. There is a tourist train that cost 12eurosandyou can get on and off as many times as you like. Just be a bit wary of pick pockets, and the cathedral is the worst place for this. A round trip on the bus takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours and can get a bit uncomfortable after an hour.
We did the locaal trip to the Catacombs, really weird being that close to the corpses. They are all dried out and it doesn't smell down these catacombs. Up in the open air, try the hazelnut andpistaco ice cream, its to die for!
Mad, mad city. Always something going on here. Loads of vespas and little cars, all fighting for space on the roads.Make sure you trave by coach. Its much safer.
Have been here before, wasn't that impressed last time, so this time we were no different. A long walk from the harbourside to the town and some of the winding street are a bit on the steep side. Look out for the dog dirt on the pavements. The french aren't very good at cleaning up after their pooches!
Another tourist bus will take you on a round trip that will take 2 21/2 to 3 hours. Visit Gaudi's park and Sagrada Familia. Again, watch out for pick pockets. My nephew got pick pocketed here last year.
