We took the train into Edinburgh from South Queensbury and saw the sights on our own. We have been in Edinburgh before and pretty much know our way around. That evening we took a ship's tour to the International Military Tattoo. It was a fantastic experience, but I warn you to bring rain gear! We got drenched, but I still loved the experience.
We took a ship's tour to the Blue Lagoon (not swimming). We had a really bad experience and I know that Reykjavik has many sights to see that are both wonderful and better than what we saw. I found that things were extremely expensive. I found a little necklace that should have been about $9 and it turned out to be $90. I bought nothing!
