this was my favorite city.. so much to do and so myuc shopping. Not just the touritst stuff but lots of hidden gems and treasures. Everything past the Red Dog saloon is local owned so we chose to spend our money there. Next time Im staying all day long and no lengthy excursions.
A beautiful city but i was dissappointed there was no Russian cuisine anywhere. I may choose to do an excursion in Sitka as the town was small and mostly cultural sightseeing. LOVED Sitka Tango the dog and bought the books about him.
another beautiful city! our room service wasnt delivered in time for us so we hit the streets looking for sourdough pancakes.. found some along with reindeer sausage and then walked it off. Too bad we cant spend more time there.
love this city but i have been here before so we didnt get off. sat on the ship and enjoyed the sights and the last night on board.. Our moon light whale watching tour was cancelled which was just as well..we enjoyed a quite last night.
