We took the Shuttle bus and walked around the city. We visited a palace which is being modernised for the Crown Prince which was very interesting. We went to Tivoli gardens but realised we would not have enough time to justify the cost of entry and rides so we just walked around. The Little Mermaid was in Shanghai for a Expo.
A beautiful clean ,open city. We used the Hop On tourist bus. The bus service was good but rather overcrowded. The views from the top of the tower at the 1952 Olympic stadium were great. There was a good market at the harbour selling local crafts and an amazing display of local fruit, vegetables and flowers
An amazing city. We had 2 fantastic days seeing the sights.
We booked the Moderate tour with Alla tours ant it was faultless. We had 10 on out tour. The guide, Marina was amazing. She knew so much and took us to all the main sights. We also went on the subway. The driver parked our bus at the door of every attraction and appeared at the right time. Marina had booked tickets and we were able to visit everywhere with no queues and often with only our group seeing each room.
Wonderful Medieval town. We took a taxi from the ship and explored on our own. We really enjoyed wandering about and had lunch on the main square enjoying the atmosphere.
