Certainly our tendering nightmare left a bad taste in our mouths regarding St. George's. We did spend the day at Tobacco Bay and enjoyed good snorkeling. Be advised that the availability of chair/umbrella rentals is limited. Consider bringing your oun umbrella at the least. We enjoyed wonderful fish sandwiches for lunch purchased right there at the beach.
Take a taxi to Horseshoe Bay and enjoy the wonderful views along the way. The beach does get crowded but it is large enough to accommodate all. Skip the Harbor Night festival on Wednesday.
