We arrived at about 12:30 to board and it couldn't have been any easier...we were on the ship at 1pm exploring. Staff was friendly, and even on the return, they have their act together.
For all the people who have friends/family living in FL...great place to have them meet you and hit the beach (but the sand is VERY HOT). It was $10 to rent an umbrella with $5 deposit...cash only. They also had a $30 special--Umbrella, two chairs and a boogie board. We considered going to Kennedy, too--but on our own with our FL native family--they were running a deal that FL residence buying a ticket could get a free kids ticket...make sure you check out online before you confirm the excursion. I'm sure if it had rained, that's where we would have gone.
Atlantis was worth going once (but that's all I needed) but they really need a Disney-Like Map to get around...the kids LOVED the lazy river and the slides.
We basically stayed on the ship...waste of a morning...I would have preferred to stay overnight at Nassau...had to be on the ship to leave by 1:30 and was told it's a 30 minute ride into town and only need an hour or so to see the whole town, but we're not really shoppers so we hung out at the pool.
