Villefranche
Port Rating:
Villefranch was our first port of call and the only one for which we had to use a tender. We took a mini train ride around the port, which gave us spectacular views of the beautiful countryside, and then settled for a drink at one of the bars in the harbour, which was lovely. A very pretty and pleasing first day for us.

Florence
Port Rating:
We docked at Marina diCarrara for visiting Florence and Pisa and we left the ship and went straight onto the coach to visit Pisa, where we stayed for the afternoon. We were amazed by the leaning tower, and had a lovely wander round and had time for an italian ice cream before returning to the coach.

Rome (Civitavecchia)
Port Rating:
We docked in Civitvecchia to visit Rome. Again we stayed onboard until we left for our coach tour of Rome itself, which was very easily executed. The trip round Rome was amazing and we are looking forward to going back and spending more time looking at the sights now that we have chance to see what is on offer. Totally lived up to our expectations.

Corsica (Ajaccio)
Port Rating:
We docked in Propriano, which was very pretty place and had a wander around before going on a coach tour of the Island, which was very beautiful and amazingly green and mountainous. Again, once we had a taste of the lovely place we would be very eager to go back.

Safaga
Port Rating:
Sorry can't find this port which was Mahon in Menorca. Of all the ports we stopped at this was our favourite, because it was in a fantastic natural harbour. We left the ship and went on another boat to do a trip of the harbour, which was fascinating and then took a taxi to the top of the hill and walked slowly down through the town, while stopping for a jug on sangria on the way. A lovely pretty place full of charm and a very enjoyable last day of our cruise.

Palma de Mallorca

Our final stop back in Palma. We were going onto a week's holiday in Alcudia so were not able to explore Palma, although again it is a beautiful place.
