This is a very nice and beautiful city. Took shuttle to the city center. Enjoyed the city by boat. We had a sunny warm day here. Everything is close and in walking distance. In the old city, we had coffee and cake at a little cafe. We had Leganberry pie and coffee...YUM!!!!
Neat city. Took the Hop on Hop Off bus. Easy to use and pick up right off the dock. It takes you all over the city. Enjoyed the market and the Rock church. Watch for pick pockets. City Hall has plenty of nice clean restrooms and also internet access. We had a nice sunny day here. My friend got her wallet stolen here. This was our least favorite port. There is shopping right off the ship here and it's pretty reasonable.
Interesting city. Most beautiful. It rained both days but saw everything in spite of it all. Bring a poncho for here and an umbrella. We went with Den Rus Tours of Russia. Had no problems getting off the ship and meeting our tour guide and group. We had 20 in our group. We spent two days together. Both days we had a wonderful lunch with some great Russian food. Our tour guide Svetlana was awesome and so informative. She was precious and very knowledgeable, fun and funny. Everything you see here is beyond words, you have to experience it.
Took a taxi a short way from the port to the train station. Had no problems. Rode train to Gdansk and the city center. This city is amazing. Here is where to buy your Amber. There is a lot to choose from at better prices than Russia. Took walking tour around the old city and rode the train back to the ship.
Neat city. Norway reminds me of Alaska. Lots to see here and easy to get around. Again we took the Hop on Hop Off bus. Saw everything. We went out to the ship museums and the statue park first and then made our way back into the city. We walked around the city and saw everything. Very easy to get around.
