Not sure why but when one thinks of Bora Bora immediate images of azure blue lagoons surrounding a mountainous miniature island are conjured up. Actually Bora Bora is nice but its lagoon is deep blue. The pictures one sees are aerial. At sea level it is not that attractive. I think the image one imagines is more along the lines of what Moorea looks like.
