We hopped a taxi which was easy to catch right outside the terminal. Set rates are posted so you know exactly what you will pay no matter how long it takes or which taxi you pick. 28$ roundtrip to Paradise Beach. 12$ for bracelet for unlimited activities. We had a blast and the 8yo loved it. We rented a locker , iirc it was 2$ with a 20$ deposit. Lots of inflatable water toys to keep them busy and servers swing by often to check on you for drinks/food. Guacamole and chips were very good and an order of french fries would feed about 4 people I think. Plenty of umbrellas.
Taxi stand right outside the terminal with rates posted. We caught a taxi to the shopping area and then a few blocks walk to public beach. Sand and water gorgeous. No public beach chair rentals however that we could find. Quaint shopping areas. This is not a pretty port when you dock, looks like a concrete/sand plant but the city and beach were fab that we saw.
