We docked in Dubai on Saturday lunch time and did not disembark the ship until Monday morning, so we had 1 1/2 days to explore Dubai. Again we organised our own tours as this was more cost effective and more fun. We did the Big Bus tour, which sounded expensive @ £40 per person, but was excellent value for money as it included 24hr travel on the bus, a walking tour of Dubai and a 1 hour boat cruise (just make sure you get your timings right as there are only a few of these per day). As with Abu Dhabi, shopping in the Malls is extremely expensive.
