ship was hours late arriving due to heavy winds, (that we hit for the next 4 days) had to wait in long line for hours due to this. other than that embarkation was fine.
just went golfing and it was fairly cold and very windy, would have been awesome if the weather was better. Did NOT take the cruise golf excursion as it was way out of line at $140 per. I got a taxi for $70 round trip (flat rate) $29 for golf including cart, $25 for rental clubs and lots of $$ for buying more balls!
it is hard to be fair with rating as the weather played a huge part in the overall enjoyment of the excursions. we did a beach excursion which was windy and cool. Had we known about the weather prior to booking we would not have taken this excursion, would have just gone on something else.
again, it was cool, not as breezy as the other days so that helped, started off sunny but turned mostly cloudy later on. took a snorkel trip which was really good, just about the best snorkeling I've done and I've done a lot. the most clear water I've been in, Bermuda was right up there and Maui was too. all other islands to me were far behind in quality of marine life and clarity of the water. water was a bit chilly and after an hour i was ready to come out and go back.
