The ship arrived at 6:00 a.m. and our flight did not leave until 10:30 p.m. We booked a tour of highlights of Buenos Aires and a Tango Show. It was excellent! The guide was terrific, we had a little shoppping time, and the tango show and dinner was fantastic. Great food, plenty of wine, and great tango dancing.

We took the Montevideo Highlights tour. It gave us a good taste of the city but we should have taken a little more action-packed tour. There was nothing spectacular or really worth seeing on this tour. After the tour we went to several leather shops recommended by the ship, hoping to find some good leather products, but the quality was not what we had hoped for. We went back to the ship for the rest of the afternoon.

We took the tour of Puerto Montt Puerto Varas, and Frutillar highlights. It was good to the the Chilean countryside; a rather pleasant drive. We had time to shop in all places.

Ushuaia

We took the Drive to Tierra del Fuego National Park tour. The guide was excellent, and it was a fascinating area, not what we expected at all. We stopped several times and took some short walks. A beautiful area - a must see. We also went into the town for a little shopping. A very busy place for such a small town. Many visitors, backpackers, etc. A fun town.
