Had to mention this port as there was something found by one of the port dogs and they shut down the port to determine whether there was a bomb or other device in the supplies being loaded onboard. It was a false alarm, but meant we got stranded in Melbourne at a cafe waiting for information. Poor communication from ships staff, and one of the ladies was downright rude, demanding AND pushy. Great port tho in spite of the bruhaha.

Fjordland National Park, NZ This was one of the highlights of our trip. Beautiful area. COLD!!! Well, not Colorado cold, but still COLD for Summer in NZ! The naturalist onboard was very good. Got lots of great pictures.

Went to a lovely museum here...FREE!!! Could not believe there were mulit-million dollar original works of art that we could walk right up to! We're talking Reynolds, Picasso's, etc. WOW!!! Walked around the town, did a little shopping, had a pint or two. Also used a cyber cafe there. Was only $2 for 30 minutes.
