In spite of the weather, the falls were shockingly powerful and beautiful. The volcano nearly, literally, blew us away. Our guide was wonderful, informative, kind.

We took the 4by4 trip off road, short hike, lunch. It was really great and our guides were really engaged with us and the countryside.

Though adequate for what it was described to be, it was not a particularly good value. I thought it was far too expensive for what it was in practice.

We took two full days of tours. The first (Petropolis, etc) was absolutely wonderful and informative. The second day was to vist the Christ statue and Sugar Loaf and city tour - wonderful and informative Our only complaint was that our guide (coincidentally the same for both days) would simply wander off and there were several times when we were not sure about times and meeting places. This was more than mildly disconcerting.
