Valparaiso Chili Most expensive tour, but well worth every penny. Great guide on this tour (Santiago wines & horses). We found this was a great way to disembark & have a great day as our flight home wasn't until 8pm, Lovely stop @a winery . Also stopped @ a ranch where Christian was a wonderfull host. Snack & pisco sours or wine. Typical Chilean rodeo show. The chilean horses are amazing as they go sideways. We had a roast beef lunch & trimmings. Next stop was Santiago where we rode the incline railroad up. Very steep. They then dropped us @ the airport
Ushuaia was possibly the most beautiful port of them all. So pituresque, I only wish we had a longer stay in this port. We also walked around town in this port. The trip thru the Beagle channels was one of incredible scenery of mountains & ice fields Of course it was sad to see how the glaciers have receded.
This tour was very different. It was only 20min drive from the port, but we took a ski lift up the mountain. We walked down thru some very different growth. Because of the winds , the trees were very stunted, but also very beautiful in their own way. we had a hot chocolate & a piece of delicious cake at a lovely ski lodge, before the ride back to the ship.
