The next day we went to St.Martin. I had prebooked a private island tour similar to our tour in St. Thomas. This tour however was in an air-conditioned bus which I did not like as you had to wait forever for people to get on and off. We stopped in Orient Beach which was a little shocking. I was expecting nudity but not FULL nudity. Even more shocking when you are snorkeling and you see a lot more than fish! I got my hair braided here and had a relaxing time on this beautiful beach. You can rent snorkeling gear here which I wish I had of known ahead of time. We left here and proceeded into Marigot. We had about 30 minutes to shop here. Next we went to Maho Beach where we saw the planes landing. Very cool. We then proceeded through Philipsburg, shopped at Rivas and back to the ship. My friends who are Dutch were disappointed with the island. They were expecting more European influence, some dutch food and conversation but they did not get that. As a result of missing CocoCay we had 5 sea days which was fine with me but my friends would have preferred more ports. I think Royal Caribbean should add another port to this itinerary for this reason. This island was very beautiful as well with its mountains and views of nearby island however they do not keep it as nice as St. Thomas i.e garbage.
