We had a really good time in Nassau. We took a catamaran and went snorkling. The water was beautiful and so was the reef. The water was rough and it was hard to snorkle without having to fight the water, but it was still fun. We weren't there very long, so didn't get to do a lot.
We went down town and did some jewelry shopping. Got a beautiful bracelet and some earrings - thanks to a wonderful husband for my 30th anniversary. We brought our purchases back to the boat and then went to Meagan's beach, which was very pretty and clean. Had a great time. The weather was just beautiful. Got dropped off before the boat and rode the sky tram above the city and then walked back to the boat.
We took a tour of the island on an air conditioned bus. It's like if you've seen one island, you've seen them all. We had a very good tour guide who made the trip very interesting. Went to an open market down town. Prices were not very good and you could not haggle very well with the vendors. Came back and went shopping at the pier by the boat. Was not very impressed with this island.
