We were not very impressed with Jamaica. We took a bus to Dolphin's Cove. The bus ride was scary not only because of the driving, but at every stop the locals swarmed the buses. Dolphin's Cove was nice and the dolphin experience was fun, but they rushed thru it. The lunch they serve is horrid! I don't know what it actually was that they served, but didn't taste good at all. The merchants in Dolphin's Cove try to sell you products way over-priced.
Next we went to Dunn's River Falls. We were not impressed with this place. It is not the 8th wonder of the world as some reviews have said. It is a river flowing over some rocks. It's really nothing to see. We have a river just like that one here in Oklahoma. Anyway, the guides rushed us up blowing whistles and encouraging us to pass other groups. Other groups were being encouraged to pass us. It was chaos. The guides were rude. We didn't have much time to look around or take pictures. Beware! when leaving the park the locals will tell you that you are going the wrong way, but you aren't. They just want to lead you down a path of local merchants to try and sale more stuff to you. They really don't like tourist in Jamaica. Oh and beware of the bathrooms! Very dirty, very little running water to wash your hands. Bring hand sanitizer! We will not return to Jamaica.
This place is wonderful. The people are friendly. It is safe to walk the streets and go shopping! We snorkeled and went to string ray city. It was a perfect day!
Paradise! We loved Cozumel! The people are friendly. We went to Isla de Pasion by Twister. The speed boat ride was so fun! A little scary when they turn 360's and go really fast, but worth it. We did hit a motor on the ocean floor at one point which left us idle for awhile, but other than that no complaints! Passion Island is amazing! It is beautiful and the staff were so friendly. They had good drinks and food. Everything was clean even the bathrooms! There was plenty to do and plenty of places to relax. I highly recommend this excursion!
