In Port Canaveral we rented a car through Budget, they had a shuttle to pick us up and return us to port. We had season passes to Sea World so we spent the day there. We were able to see quite a bit, being the kids are back in school the park was not crowded at all.
When we first got to Nassau and off the ship it began to pour down rain. We were given the option to cancel our excursion which we did. We did take a surrey ride through town and that just gave us a nice overview of the area and learn a few facts as well as orient ourselves a bit more to the area.
Area where the ship docked wasn't that impressive, we looked through the small shops located there, didn't purchase anything though. Then we took a short bus ride to Port Lucaya (I believe) and did a glass bottom boat tour. Overall it was a nice ride, boat wasn't quite what I had envisioned. The tour guide was a little odd. We were to make it back to the last bus by 1 and we got to the bus at 12:55. The boat during the excursion got stuck on something and with us running a bit late we didn't get to look at anything around the port area.
